IN CHRIST Ministries, Inc. has been providing services to our community since our incorporation in 1985. By God's grace and the support of our faithful members, we have been able to offer a diversity of services and opportunities to all people regard-less of age, ethnic origin or religious background.

 

In 1998 the Lord sent me on a crusade to Venezuela. While I was there, I preached the gospel in many churches and women's ministries. I prayed for the lost, the sick and oppressed during altar calls in many crusades. I visited Government operated orphanages. It was there that my eyes started to open to the dire needs of the children in Venezuela.  

 

In the middle of our 3 week crusade, we had the opportunity to visit the only McDonald's restaurant in the area. While I was eating a big mac in their restaurant and talking to a friend, the Lord spoke to me and said, " I want you to build a home for the homeless street children here in Veneziela. At that point I chjoked on my food. " I said, "Lord, I don't even know the language much less how to build an orphanage." He said, " I'll show you how little by little." So we have acquired 21/2 acres of farm land in Venezuela. We have been working on a project with the architectural plans in order to build the Pinocchio Village.  This village will sustain self-sufficiently at lease 78 children at a time, ranging from birth to 17 years of age.

 

I know that Jesus is tugging at the heart strings of other Christians to help us to alleviate the pain and suffering of these ophans. The children's village is to be a reality. Together we can save the children, restore their dignity, and give them hope for a bright future at the Pinocchio Village.
